Dry Needling
Intramuscular dry needling involves the insertion of a fine acupuncture needle into a myo-fascial trigger point. This usually elicits a twitch response in the targeted muscle, normalising muscle tone, reducing pain and improving blood flow to the area.
Dry needling is used to treat a variety of conditions such as chronic pain, frozen shoulder, repetitive strain injuries, head aches, muscle strains, sprained ankles, mobility disorders and sports injuries.
